Some repairs and maintenance may be covered by Medicare and/or Medicaid.  For example, if you received a power wheelchair or Scooter from Medicare and or Medicaid, you may be eligible for replacement batteries every year from the date you received your unit.  Repairs may take 48-72 hours to complete the initial diagnosis.  Additional time is required for repairs that require replacement parts.  If a repair takes more than a week to complete you may be eligible for a similar unit to be loaned while you wait.  Warranty work only covers the cost of the parts, labor is not covered by Manufacturer's Warranty and you may be responsible for these costs if Medicare or Medicaid refuses to pay the labor charges.

Labor pricing:
$25 in store diagnosis - see chart below
$35 in home diagnosis + mileage charge - see chart below
Repairs are billed at $60 per hour (In increments of 15 minutes)
Delivery of products = Mileage charge (based on distance from store, contact for exact amount)

Note: Medicare and Medicaid will purchase new equipment for its beneficiaries every 5 years.  Contact us to determine eligibility.
